What’s The Best Piece Of Advice You’ve Ever Received?

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

This was a question someone asked me….what is the best advice I’ve received? Answer: “Manage your time wisely”. This is what my father and mother told me when I was younger and to this date it resonates with me.

How can you manage your time wisely? To me, that would be based on what your goals and aspirations are. A number of things that I strongly recommend everyone of you who is reading this is to incorporate a daily exercise routine. This is very important to your health and strength training to help your body as you become older.

You must have heard your grandparents or friends/family who may have toppled over/lost their balance and I charge it to lack of strength training; especially in your legs.

Another thing I would recommend to incorporate is a moment of peace and quiet where you turn off all devices and you can either pray, meditate or just let your mind wonder in silence for half an hour at least to help sort out your mind. You would be surprised what may spring out with moments of what I call “clarity”.

Plan your day and include the time and try to follow it as closely as you can so that you can somewhat be on schedule. You may not always execute at the exact time, but you’ll get close enough.

If you have family and/or friends make sure to include that into your schedule whether it be a phone call or a text.

Spend less time off social media. It is very necessary so you won’t be filled with the crap you see, hear or read.

In a nutshell, simply take the time to map out your day/weekly schedule and I GUARANTEE you, you will notice a great change in your life.

If you don’t – please let me know and we can have that conversation through YouTube live.

Many people have written about the importance of using your time wisely, but the most fascinating insight for me came from Paul J. Meyer. He said, “Most time is wasted, not in hours, but in minutes. A bucket with a small hole in the bottom gets just as empty as a bucket that is deliberately kicked over.”
This quote highlights the significance of managing even the smallest increments of time. It serves as a powerful reminder that it’s not just the big chunks of time that matter, but also the minutes that often slip away unnoticed. By paying attention to these small moments, we can significantly improve our overall productivity and make the most of our time.
