Is this really what it all boils down to? We’ve seen the movies like White Chicks, How to Eat Your Watermelon in White Company (and Enjoy It), etc and to a large amount of white people it seems as if they feel that blacks envy whites.
Something quickly I also found was that white people don’t like black movies. I employ all of you black people out there who have so called white friends to run through a list of black movies you’ve watched and listen to what they have to say lol…..crickets.
The reason why whites or other races don’t watch black movies is because they lack empathy to identify with Black characters. It affects their ability to “suspend disbelief” and surrender to the narrative of a Black film and that’s a damn shame.
I find it interesting that us as Black people have the ability to adapt to anything, everything, everywhere….we have that chameleon thing going on…..but that’s another subject.
Check out the video below and read/listen to what whites and other races are saying…..may not come as a surprise to many, but to the very few it will be an eye opener.
