Colorado high school principal Rachael has resigned. There was a photo that showed up on social media that showed 3 students reenacting the murder of George Floyd.
Superintendent Don Haddad made an announcement on Monday that Mead High School Principal Rachael Ayers has resigned after 12 years of service.
There was a disgraceful photo that was posted on Snapchat that showed a student in blackface on the ground, another student holding the student with blackface arms and finally the 3rd student having their knee on their neck like …..wtf?
The world I believe has seen by now where on May 25, 2020 George Floyd was in that same predicament. He was murdered by Derek Chauvin who applied his knee to the back of Floyd’s neck for 9 and a half minutes.
Dan Haddad stated
“Yesterday, it was brought to my attention that a disturbing and disgusting social media post depicting the reenactment of the murder of George Floyd was made by a group of students from Mead High School,” the May 20 statement said. “We in the St. Vrain Valley Schools strongly condemn, and have no tolerance for, racism in any form and will be addressing this extremely serious matter immediately and accordingly.”
